There are many ways for prospective Bears to visit our campus!

忍受一天 - 8th grader shadow day visits are available late Sept 2024 to early Jan 2025. 登记 opens in late August, 2024.

We welcome students 和 families to our campus for 艺术 和 Athletic 事件 too. 查看我们的 日历 for detailed information on performances 和 competitions.

All ninth grade applicants to Bishop Blanchet are required to take the HSPT.  Along with grades 和 teacher recommendations, the results are used for placement in English, 数学, 还有科学课程. 

The next dates the HSPT will be administered at BBHS is November, 2024. 登记 will open in early October.

• 测试需要 约 four hours to complete, 和 has Language 和 Math sections, 和 one written essay.  
• Students taking the HSPT at Bishop Blanchet should arrive at least 15 minutes before the test start time.
• Parking is available in the main parking lot 和 there will be signs indicating where the check in table is located.
• 测试 takers will need their student identification, two #2 pencils, 和 a blue or black ink pen.
• Because students will be completing some demographic information, they will need to know their current mailing address with zip code.
• We will provide breaks 和 snacks.  
• A few weeks after taking the test, families will receive results directly from the testing company.

Through your newly created 招生 portal, you will then be able to forward the required forms directly to the applicant's current school. The application fee is $30 for domestic applicants 和 $250 for international/exchange applicants.

As part of the application process, transcripts 和 teacher recommendations from your current school are required.

Follow the directions in the 招生 portal to forward the Confidential School Report/记录请求 和 Confidential Teacher Evaluation Form to the appropriate personnel at the applicant's school. 

These forms 和 an official transcript from sixth, 第七, 和 the first half of eighth grade must be submitted by the January 2024 deadline. It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure that the forms 和 transcripts have been completed 和 submitted by the deadline. The 招生 committee will not consider incomplete applications.
